Complete Transport Fever 3 Mission 1 by restoring the storm-damaged connections around New Orleans, delivering wood for the hotel, rebuilding the food supply and railway access, and sending the festival floats along the requested parade route. The mission introduces these jobs in sequence, so finish the active task and wait for its next instruction before creating additional services.
For a stronger result, complete the extra help offered during the mission, including the hotel food delivery and the Lakeshore passenger connection. The special award concerns subduing the alligators quickly. Treat that early task separately from the final festival result: completing the rest of the mission does not automatically establish that the timing requirement was met.
Follow the Active Objective Through the Storm Recovery
The campaign opens in New Orleans after a storm has damaged the city and surrounding connections. Mardi Gras depends on restoring access and supplies, but the scenario does not ask you to build an unrestricted transport company. Its early prompts guide you through specific repairs and deliveries.
Keep the objective panel visible as you work. When the game highlights a construction area, use that area for the requested building rather than placing an equivalent structure elsewhere. The depot task, for example, guides its location explicitly. A building that looks suitable in another part of the map may not serve the current tutorial step.
Pause when you need to inspect a location or plan a repair. Resume when vehicles need to transport material or passengers. During the early alligator objective, prioritize the search itself because the medal asks for speed. Avoid spending that stage designing later routes that have not yet been requested.
Clear the Alligators from the Logging Camp
The logging camp must become usable again before it can support the city. Select the alligators around the camp as the objective requests. Inspect the camp rather than searching the entire bayou without a plan.
The task dialogue points to an alligator in the street near the gate and another hiding in a shack. Use those clues to examine the camp from more than one camera angle. Move closer to buildings when an animal is difficult to distinguish from its surroundings, and select the actual alligator instead of selecting nearby structures.

Continue until the camp task advances and the lumberjacks can return. An animal that you can see elsewhere on the map is not necessarily part of the active objective. The useful confirmation is the logging-camp task updating, rather than assuming that one successful click completes the whole search.
Because the special award concerns completing this job quickly, resolve the search before lingering on optional camera views. If you finish the scenario but miss this award, replay with the camp locations in mind instead of changing your later delivery network.
Remove the Storm Obstructions and Rebuild the Road
After the camp is available, the mission addresses the damaged road connection. The dialogue describes fallen trees and a washed-out route. Use the bulldozer for the obstruction-clearing step, then rebuild the road where the task directs you.
Follow the highlighted repair area. This is a restoration task, so connect the surviving pieces of the road into a valid route rather than building a separate road that merely passes nearby. The road needs to support the next stage's vehicles between the logging camp and city.
Inspect the connection after construction. A visible road segment that ends short of the existing network does not provide a complete delivery path. Wait for the repair objective to advance before proceeding to vehicle purchase, because the following tutorial assumes that this access has been restored.
Deliver Wood to the Hotel Construction Site
The planned luxury hotel needs wood. The mission first asks for a vehicle depot, then a cargo wagon, then a line between the logging camp and the construction site in the city.
- Place the requested vehicle depot in the highlighted area.
- Open its vehicle store and purchase the cargo wagon requested by the task.
- Create a line connecting the logging camp to the hotel construction site.
- Check the line's stop order and road connection.
- Assign the wagon to that line.
- Resume the simulation and watch the wagon make its delivery.

This sequence matters. Buying a wagon leaves it in the depot until it receives a line assignment, and drawing a line does not move goods without an operating vehicle. Confirm both parts before increasing the game speed to wait for the hotel.
Inspect the wagon if the task stops advancing. It should leave the depot, visit the logging camp and reach the construction site. If it remains parked, check its assignment. If it travels but cannot complete the connection, inspect the repaired road and the line's selected stops.
The hotel stage is complete when the construction task progresses, not when the first wagon is purchased. Do not abandon a working delivery because the hotel has not appeared immediately; let the requested material reach the site and watch the objective update.
Restore the Port Warehouse and Food Supply
The storm swept away the old warehouse and the fishermen's boats. The next supply task restores a warehouse at the port and provides a boat so the catch can reach the city again.
Place the warehouse where the mission requests it. Then buy the required boat and establish its service to the chosen fishing area. The dialogue offers shrimp in the eastern fishing area and fish to the west near the lumberjacks. Follow the choice shown in your objective rather than combining unrelated catch routes into the first service.
Assign the boat and verify that it actually operates. A warehouse provides a destination for stored catch, while the boat provides the movement. Both need to be functioning for this recovery step. Watch the catch arrive and wait for the mission to acknowledge the restored food supply.
Keep this scenario task focused on the requested connection. You do not need to build a whole maritime logistics system to complete it. Additional boats or speculative warehouse expansion create more things to manage without repairing a missing assignment or an incorrect stop in the original line.
Deliver Food to the Hotel When Offered
The mayor offers an additional job using the restored seafood supply. The hotel can receive food from the warehouse, but that road delivery requires its own stops, line and wagon.
Add the delivery stop outside the warehouse, establish the requested hotel stop, and connect them with a road line. Purchase a suitable horse-drawn cargo wagon and assign it to that line. This is separate from the boat that brings the catch into the port: the land vehicle completes the movement from storage to the hotel.
Watch the wagon collect the available food and make its hotel delivery. If the boat is operating but the hotel task does not advance, inspect this final road leg rather than rebuilding the fishing connection. The warehouse-to-hotel service is the additional link that turns available catch into a hotel supply.
Complete this help before ending the scenario if you are pursuing the higher-star result. The extra task belongs to helping New Orleans beyond the basic festival restoration, so leaving the working warehouse without its hotel delivery can leave a requested improvement unfinished.
Reconnect the Railway from Kenner
Tourists arrive by train from Kenner, but the storm collapsed the Mississippi crossing. Repair the damaged track connection so the existing passenger service can operate again.
Inspect the surviving railway on both sides of the damaged section and restore the requested link. Confirm that the repaired track joins the existing alignment rather than ending beside it. The task then asks you to get the train moving again from Kenner.
Follow the mission's instruction for the existing train. This stage is a restoration of its passenger route, not a requirement to purchase an unrelated locomotive and create a new railway service. Watch the train cross the repaired section and continue toward New Orleans.
If the train remains stationary, verify that the repair task has advanced and that the train has been instructed to operate. A complete-looking bridge cannot help if the vehicle is still stopped. Conversely, an operating train cannot cross a disconnected track segment, so inspect both construction and vehicle state.
Extend the Existing Bus Line to Lakeshore
The local musicians need to return from the bayou area in time for the festival. The mission proposes connecting Lakeshore to the bus network by adding one stop to the existing New Orleans line.
Place or select the requested Lakeshore passenger stop and add it to that existing service. Inspect the stop list carefully: you are extending the line that already operates, rather than creating an empty new line without coaches.
The dialogue explains that this extension avoids buying new coaches. Keep the existing vehicles assigned, confirm that the new stop is part of their route and allow them to travel through the updated service. Watch the objective for the passenger connection to advance.
If coaches continue their old journey, reopen the line manager and check the actual stop list. Building a roadside stop alone does not instruct a vehicle to visit it. The station must be added to the line in a position that the service can reach.
Set the Parade Route and Dispatch the Floats
Once the restoration and support jobs are in place, create the parade route from City Park along Canal Street as directed. Inspect the requested locations and define the route before sending the floats out of the depot.

The floats are already stationed in the depot for this stage. Assign or send them to the parade route when prompted, then watch their movement. The earlier delivery lines do not substitute for this separate festival service.
Use the route preview to check where the floats will travel. A line with the wrong station or an incomplete connection may look plausible in the list while missing the actual parade path. Resolve that route before waiting for the final sequence.
When the result screen appears, inspect both the stars and the special award. Saving Mardi Gras, completing the additional help and earning the fast-alligator award are related parts of the scenario, but they represent separate completion conditions. Use the result to identify the unfinished requirement before replaying the mission.
