Transport Fever 3 has 41 achievements covering the campaign, individual Free Games and progress accumulated across multiple Free Games. Before working on a difficult requirement, check that the save uses eligible gameplay settings and mods. Non-cosmetic mods and changes from standard gameplay settings generally prevent achievements, so a successful transport network and an achievement-eligible network are separate things to verify.
Use the achievement list in the game library, main menu or company progress window to choose a target and check its completion state. Uncompleted entries appear toned down, while earned entries appear in color. Plan around the requirement's mode and scope: an achievement that specifies one map cannot be assembled from several smaller saves.
Check Eligibility Before Investing in a Target
Choose a Free Game with standard gameplay values when you intend to earn Free Game achievements. Review the mod selection before starting. Cosmetic changes are distinguished from non-cosmetic mods in the achievement rules; do not assume that a mod is eligible because its effect seems minor.
The safest practical starting point is a standard save without gameplay-changing mods. Keep that save separate from a sandbox or experimental setup used to try construction ideas. This makes the intended achievement run easier to inspect later and avoids discovering that the wrong settings were used after reaching a large population or transport total.
An achievement entry remaining toned down is useful evidence that the game has not recorded completion. Check the actual wording before changing your network: an industry goal, a company goal and a total-map goal can involve similar activity but count different outcomes.

The company window is useful for checking completed and open achievements during play. Open the company view and review the achievement tab as you reach important milestones. A transport total that looks sufficient in another statistics window is not a substitute for checking the specific achievement entry.
Finish the Campaign in Three Distinct Passes
Campaign completion, campaign stars and campaign medals are separate targets. A mission completed at its basic success level can advance the campaign without satisfying the requirement for every star or every medal. Track these layers independently instead of assuming that reaching the final mission completes the whole campaign achievement group.
| Achievement | Required campaign result |
|---|---|
| The Journey Begins | Complete the first campaign mission |
| Story Master | Complete all campaign missions |
| Story Legend | Collect every star in every campaign mission |
| Phalerist | Earn every campaign medal |
First complete a mission and unlock the next. Then inspect the mission's higher-star conditions and optional medal objective before replaying it. This gives you a concrete reason for the replay: a missed deadline, a stricter transport target or a separate bonus task.
The campaign contains eight missions, so maintain a record of missing stars and medals across those eight entries. Do not replace a mission's specific target with a general measure such as company profit. For example, a transport deadline needs the required transport result by its stated time, while a medal can involve a different task entirely.
The first mission introduces campaign progress, but the achievement for completing it does not establish that all of its optional challenges were earned. After the result appears, review the mission page before deciding whether to move on or replay for the campaign-wide completion targets.
Collect First-Time Free Game Milestones
These achievements are tied to a first occurrence in Free Game. They are useful early targets because you can inspect one concrete action or change rather than waiting for a large cumulative number.
| Achievement | Required Free Game event |
|---|---|
| All Aboard | A passenger boards a passenger vehicle for the first time |
| Package Arrived | A cargo item reaches a destination for the first time |
| On Behalf Of | Successfully finish your first subsidy contract |
| Caretaker | Satisfy a town's supply rating |
| Urban Development | A town expands to a higher level |
| Increased Demand | Cause a town to require an additional cargo type |
| Promotion | Gain a company rank for the first time |
| Offshore | A helicopter first lands on an oil platform |
| Landscaper | Plant a tree |
| Timekeeper | Change the daytime |
| Weatherman | Change the weather |
Several of these actions belong to the same developing company, but their completion triggers remain different. A passenger route being built is not the same as a passenger boarding it. A cargo vehicle carrying goods is not the same as those goods arriving at a destination. Observe the event that the entry actually names.
Keep these milestones in an eligible Free Game. Performing a similar action during a campaign task does not satisfy a requirement explicitly limited to Free Game. Where an entry describes a rating or growth change, wait for that change to appear before treating the objective as complete.
Keep Single-Map Targets in One Free Game
The following requirements apply within one map. Preserve the save that contains the developing result instead of spreading its components across several different games.
| Achievement | Required result within one Free Game |
|---|---|
| Megatropolis | A town reaches at least 3,000 population |
| Populated Country | The map reaches 50,000 population |
| Warehousing Titan | More than 10,000 cargo items are stored in one warehouse |
| Bicentennial Tycoon | Play a Free Game from 1900 until 2000 |
| Subsidy Streak | Successfully complete 10 subsidies in a row |
| Career Ladder | Reach the highest company title |
| Summit Stopover | A train stops at a station situated over 500 meters |
| Bank's Best Friend | Pay more than 10 million in interest to the bank |
| Heritage Fleet | Have all available ship types from 1900 to 2050 in operation |
| Boost the Pack | Keep boosters active for 10 industries at the same time |
| Car Imperium | An industry produces 500 vehicles within 12 months |
| Centralized | Build all 10 landmarks in one municipal area |
Read the qualifiers carefully. Warehousing Titan requires one warehouse, so several warehouses with a combined total above the threshold do not describe the specified result. Boost the Pack requires simultaneous activity, so activating different industries at unrelated times is not the same condition. Centralized names one municipal area rather than landmarks scattered across the map.
The wording also matters at numerical boundaries. Megatropolis permits at least 3,000, whereas Warehousing Titan requires over 10,000. Summit Stopover requires a station over 500 meters and a train stopping there. A track crossing a high point does not describe that station requirement.
For time-window targets, inspect the relevant production period rather than using an all-time total. Car Imperium names 500 vehicles within 12 months. A factory reaching that total over several years has accumulated useful output, but it has not demonstrated the specified rate.

Use the achievement state alongside the company and vehicle statistics to confirm progress. The statistics help diagnose why a target remains incomplete; the colored achievement entry confirms that the game recorded the actual requirement.
Accumulate Cross-Game Progress Across Eligible Maps
Cross-game achievements allow the named total or collection to build across multiple Free Games. This is the category where several saves can serve complementary roles, such as different climates or different available vehicles.
| Achievement | Combined Free Game requirement |
|---|---|
| Globetrotter | Play in every climate zone |
| Tycoon of Tycoons | Earn the company title Tycoon in every climate zone |
| Master Salesman | Deliver every cargo type available across any climate zone |
| Around the World | Build a total of 40,075 kilometers of streets and tracks |
| Passenger Pioneer | Transport 1,000,000 passengers in total |
| Cargo Pioneer | Transport 1,000,000 cargo items in total |
| Global Population | Increase total population across your Free Games by 100,000 |
| Connoisseur | Use every vehicle at least once |
| Evil Money | Earn a cumulative one hundred billion dollars |
| Animal Lover | Spot every animal at least once |
For climate-related targets, distinguish entering a climate from reaching a company title there. Globetrotter and Tycoon of Tycoons describe different amounts of progress in the same set of climates. Completing the first does not establish completion of the second.
For collection targets, record the missing categories instead of repeatedly using what is already complete. Master Salesman concerns cargo types, Connoisseur concerns vehicles, and Animal Lover concerns animals. Each requires coverage of its own collection; a high total of one type cannot replace a missing type.
The transport totals describe completed transport activity. Purchase capacity, waiting passengers and stored cargo are useful operating measurements, but they do not replace the named passenger or cargo transport total. Preserve useful eligible networks and allow their recorded transport to contribute while you pursue remaining collection targets elsewhere.
Treat the Four Unusual Targets as Separate Objectives
The final group uses unusual actions or states rather than conventional company expansion.
| Achievement | Required Free Game condition |
|---|---|
| Encounter of the 3rd Kind | Catch a UFO for the first time |
| Oldschool | Use a steam locomotive in the 2000s |
| It Wasn't Me | Reach a town reputation rating of 0% |
| Perfectionist | Demolish and rebuild a station twice in a row |
These entries should not be read as instructions for optimizing a normal company. A zero-reputation target is a different end state from improving town service. If you want to preserve a functioning network, keep a separate save before intentionally pursuing a disruptive requirement.
Oldschool requires operation in the specified period, not simply owning a steam locomotive in an earlier era. Perfectionist describes a repeated demolition-and-rebuild sequence rather than ordinary station extension. Confirm the entry after performing the stated sequence before repeating further demolition.
The UFO requirement identifies a target but does not provide a guaranteed spawn location or a fixed schedule. Avoid building a route around an invented location. Check the game for the actual opportunity and use the achievement entry to confirm the result when it occurs.
Diagnose an Achievement That Has Not Completed
Check four things in order: eligibility, mode, scope and trigger. First confirm that the save's gameplay values and mods permit achievements. Next confirm that you are playing the required mode. Then distinguish a single-map condition from a combined total. Finally inspect the exact action, threshold or time window.
This sequence prevents unnecessary rebuilding. A correct cargo network cannot fix an ineligible save, and an eligible map cannot turn a campaign action into a Free Game event. Once those conditions are correct, use the relevant statistics to find the missing part of the target.
Keep completed entries and unfinished entries separate when planning your next session. Choose a specific remaining requirement, preserve the save that owns its progress, and check the entry again after the named event occurs. That gives each run a verifiable result without assuming that unrelated company growth counts toward every achievement.
